iPhone 14 lineup has two Pro models named iPhone 14 Pro (6.1-inch Display) and iPhone 14 Pro Max (6.7-inch Display). Apple really did amazing and next-level things with pro models. Now the Pro lineup comes with new pill-shaped notch that changes its size depending on the notification. Apple calls this notch area Dynamic Island. It is really a unique feature and never seen on any smartphone yet.
With Dynamic Island background activities like Maps, Music, or a timer remain visible and interactive, and with iOS 16 third-party apps can also use this Dynamic Island feature to provide information like sports scores and ride-sharing with Live Activities.
The iPhone 14 Pro series has all new Always-On display, which shows the whole lock screen while dimming the background image and is powered by the latest A16 Bionic chipset with a new 48MP main camera on iPhone featuring a quad-pixel sensor, and Photonic Engine. It has a 65% larger sensor than iPhone 13 Pro. In addition to the main camera ultra-wide and telephoto camera is also improved, and now can capture more light and better low lights.
There’s up to 2x on the Main camera, up to 3x on the Ultra Wide camera, up to 2x on the Telephoto camera, and up to 2x on the TrueDepth camera.
There’s Emergency SOS via satellite. Now when you don’t have network reception or wifi near, you can use satellite to communicate with the emergency services. Also your iPhone can sense a car crash and call an ambulance for you and inform the loved ones.
The iPhone 14 Pro (6.1-inch) and iPhone 14 Pro Max (6.7-inch) feature a stainless steel frame and matte finish glass on the back. Both the models include a new Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion that features the Always-On display for the first time ever on iPhone, enabled by a new 1Hz refresh rate and multiple power-efficient technologies. This makes the new Lock Screen even more useful, keeping everything on the screen like the time, widgets, and Live Activities available at a glance.
The advanced display also brings the 1600 nits peak HDR brightness level as Pro Display XDR, and the 2000 nits highest outdoor peak brightness in direct sunlight, which is twice as bright as iPhone 13 Pro.
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max pre-orders begin September 9 and they will be available starting September 16.
The iPhone 14 Pro is available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage capacities and has new four new colors: Deep Purple, Silver, Gold, and Space Black. iPhone 14 Pro is starting from Rs. 129900 and iPhone 14 Pro Max is starting from Rs. 139900 in India.
